In 1968, the very first Cue store opened in Sydney’s Strand Arcade, bringing fast and reactive fashion to the Australian scene. Fast-forward 45 years and it’s still one of the most recognisable names in Australian fashion and for Summer, the label is calling on rich floral prints and long lean silhouettes.
With clean shapes and stunning prints, Cue focuses on the latest looks from London that keep their brand continuously modern, stylish and chic. On top of that, the brand is a family-owned and 100% Australian-owned company with the designs being originated in their head offices in Surry Hills, Sydney. Love it!
Modern Glamour is the name given to this season’s luxe collection, which centres around long and lean silhouettes with a subtle 70’s undertone; think flared legs and bell shaped tunics. Sunray pleats make an appearance once again, along with shoestring straps and soft languid dresses, all of which reference a relaxed 70’s summer vibe. Floral prints are strong and defined, bursting in rich warm shades of the sunset and are designed to be worn as a mismatched set.
Cue Head Designer, Chloe Gray said this summer the Cue woman is “Modern and up to the minute. She has her own take on trends, for both work and play, and she loves a statement print”
Wide leg trousers and jumpsuits are the must haves from this collection and we can already see ourselves in these pieces, sipping on cocktails watching the sun go down! Ready, set, summer!
