The Victoria Racing Club and Myer officially launched the 2014 Myer Fashions on the Field competition at the beautiful double-storey enclosure at Flemington Racecourse today.
Guests enjoyed last minute racewear tips from Myer menswear designer Dom Bagnato, Myer milliner Kerrie Stanley, Myer Fashions on the Field Ambassador Rebeccah Panozza and Myer Ambassador Kris Smith from the stunning viewing deck which has incredible views of the Fashions on the Field catwalk, the racetrack and the Melbourne skyline.
Our Women’s Racewear state finalists from Western Australia, South Australia, Queensland, New South Wales and Tasmania were also at the launch, dressed in their winning outfits ahead of the National Final on Crown Oaks Day where they’ll compete for the grand prize (valued at over $100,000!) and the top title.
The competition, hosted by designer Jeff Banks and model and presenter Nikki Phillips, kicks off on AAMI Victoria Derby Day. Entrants can pre-register online or register on the day at the Myer Fashions on the Field Enclosure. If you’re heading to Flemington next week, don’t forget to share your Fashions on the Field experiences with @FlemingtonVRC and @Myer tagging #MyerFOTF and #MelbCarnival on Twitter and Instagram!
