  1. I hope your sale goes well.

I actually went to Myer in Morley to buy a new suit, shirts pants etc (probably about $1000 or so) on Sunday 28 December at about 4pm. As I’m starting a new job in January I thought I would celebrate by buying some new business attire.

Despite hanging around in the suits department looking at jackets and trying to figure out the correct size, neither of the two staff at the counter approached me to ask if I needed help. I then went to the shirts (right in front of the counter) and looked around there. Still no help! Eventually I asked one of the ‘sales’ assistants if they could check my neck size, which they did.

I tried on one shirt, and having received no help at all I left after an hour without spending anything – which is a pity because some of the Blaq shirts were quite nice. It was no use buying any without matching them to the suit though.

I’ll probably end up going to David Jones in Perth and buy my clothes there. They’re probably more expensive, but at least I know the staff there actually want to sell stuff.
