Introducing our Autumn Winter 15 Designer Collection

New season fashion has finally landed and our AW15 Designer Collection will have you transitioning into the cooler months in some serious style. Fresh colour combinations, textures and silhouettes are here and we’ve got all the trends you need to know about to get you started on your new season wardrobe.

Autumn winter is generally a time for rich, darker shades, but this season we’re shaking things up with pops of vibrant colour injected into the standard wintery colour palette – think fuchsia, chartreuse and navy paired with soft dove greys, charcoals, icy whites and of course classic black. A soft wash of colour through print is seen in Aurelio Costarella’s AW15 collection, while Yeojin Bae and Maticevski have introduced solid colour blocking, perfectly balanced with their feminine shapes.

Power Dressing
Asymmetric hemlines and sharp layers provide a strong and sharp silhouette for AW15, with skin skimming tops in luxe leather and perfectly tailored skirts and pants providing a new take on power dressing. This fresh kind of modern minimalism has been perfected by White Suede, with their trademark pencil skirt getting an update this season, while Jayson Brundson has embraced a slick fit for that perfect rock-inspired power suit. by johnny’s sculptural pieces allow for a more subtle strength to come through via textural fabrics, shapes and bold prints.

The softer, more playful side of AW15 sees designers looking to the past and taking inspiration from days gone by. Mixing patterns and textures is the key to nailing this look, with Karen Walker calling on the 60s and 70s for print and shape inspiration. Vintage styling makes for a new casual look through delicate fabrics at Fleur Wood and uniform-inspired mismatching at Kate Sylvester.

Texture to Touch
Forget flat fabrics, Autumn Winter is about tactile pieces with volume and shape dictated by a new reel of textured materials. Ellery’s luxurious raw silks perfectly enhance billowy volume and give lightness to full silhouettes, while Alex Perry’s new season collection is a luxe lace affair – he’s introduced structured bows to his trademark body-con styles which perfectly enhance the female form.
