Strong silhouettes and seventies-inspired prints set the tone for Cue’s Winter 15 collection, which features saturated hues of deep blue and petrol mixed back with ruby reds and tans. Clean lines and bold prints encourage a new attitude for Winter at Cue, and wearing it your way is the only way.
From crisp shirting to A-line dresses, Cue has you covered this winter with an easy-wear collection designed for mix-and-match outfitting. Slightly flared pants are key and look great worn back with ribbed bodysuits or longer length tunics while waist cinching belts are a must for both dresses and jackets. We had a chat with Cue’s senior designer Chloe Grey to find out more about the collection…
Myer: What’s the one key piece she absolutely must have this season?
Chloe Grey: The orange and black linear bomber jacket is my absolute favourite piece this winter. It works back with so many different pieces, and I’ll be wearing it with the ribbed knit bodysuit.
M: What themes and techniques have you featured in this collection?
CG: This season we’ve experimented with design details such as top stitching and piping, and our signature splicing remains in play. We’ve paired textured fabrics with pops of colour and contrasting black and white, and we’ve also added rose-gold and nickel hardware for a luxe finish.
M: Describe the new collection in one sentence?
CG: Cue Winter.15 leads the pack in downtown cool, where fashion is an attitude and not just a style.
M: Whats your number one winter styling tip?
CG: Create a modern attitude with a waisted belt and add extra personality with polished metal statement earrings, cuffs and pendants.
Cue is available at all Myer stores. Styles will vary from store to store.
