Brisbane based label Aje took us to a beautiful dark and moody place with their Resort 17 collection, aptly named ‘Apocalyptic Paradise’.
In this collection, signature Aje pieces – think logo tees, leather mini skirts and embellished dresses – appeared alongside palm-print jackets, detailed denim and embroidered tops. Our favourite looks included a sheer Victorian-inspired blouse with embroidery detail paired with distressed jeans, an applique tunic top with white flares and an incredible sequinned ice-blue mini dress.
The Aje show oozed attitude as models walked confidently and purposefully down a minimal runway lit by free-standing spotlights, which left guests fixated on the impeccable detailing and cool-girl styling the label is famous for.
Check back on The Find tomorrow to see Elyse Knowles’ video diary as she takes us inside Day 2 of Australian Fashion Week. And for all the action as it happens from Australia Fashion Week, be sure to follow @Myer on Instagram (@myer) and Snapchat (myersnaps) all week!
