We may have been in sunny Sydney, but at last night’s Myer Spring 15 Fashion Launch it was the Melbourne dress code of black, black and more black that seemed to be the preferred colour off the runway. From Face of Myer Jennifer Hawkins’ embellished mini-dress to Nicole Warne’s 70s-inspired top-and-flares combo, many of our stylish guests opted for chic, monochromatic looks to make their statement on the Red Carpet.
Tonight we got swept up in the romance of the new season at Carriageworks as we launched our Spring fashion collection with an incredible parade that showcased 60 models and over 200 new season looks.
The seventies are well and truly back this season and Napoleon Perdis looked to two icons of the decade, Jane Birkin and Cher, as his inspiration for the stunning beauty look we saw on our Autumn Winter 15 Fashion Launch runway. Just before the show started, we went backstage with Napoleon where he took us through the look, step by step.
A fashion show always attracts a stylish crowd, and last night’s AW15 Fashion Launch was no exception.
A new season has arrived at Myer, and with it comes fabulous new trends, must-have pieces and of course an unforgettable runway show.
Glowing skin and fairy floss hair defined the ‘Scandinavian Mermaid’ beauty look worn by the models last week at our Spring Summer Fashion Launch. Napoleon Perdis provided the perfect clean complexion, lightly sunkissed with coral tones while the Kevin Murphy team created the incredible array of candy coloured quiffs.
Spring Summer 15 has well and truly arrived here at Myer with our Fashion launch heating up the runway at Sydney’s Carriageworks last Thursday. Face of Myer Jen Hawkins sizzled as she opened the show in a form-fitting Alex Perry lace dress.
