Face of Myer Jennifer Hawkins is loving this season’s modern take on the 70s, which sees a more demure and rustic 70s style come through.

“It’s all about structured pieces and strong shapes in retro prints and detailed fabrics like broderie lace,” she said.

“One of my favourite looks is a structured denim jumpsuit worn with tan platform heels or a fringed suede boot. To get that 70s glow, try bronzy tones with a metallic eye”

Not brave enough to try a denim onesie? Try teaming flares and boho prints in floaty fabrics or add a touch of the 70s to your outfits with suede boots and a saddle bag in all-important tan.

Colours
Opt for flares, A-line skirts and pants in rich colours like navy and maroon but accent these with warmer tones of burnt orange, tan and cream.

Textures
Mixing textures is key this season, so pair soft flowing tops with structure denim or wool blend bottoms. Chunky knits can be layered over fluid skirts and dresses too.

Shapes
From A-line mini skirts and tucked-in silk shirts to billowing maxi dresses, this is the season of mixing structured and relaxed shapes.
